Kashif Raza is the Head of Wholesale Banking at Ajman Bank. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the banking industry, Kashif brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. His expertise in corporate finance and investment banking within the Islamic banking sphere is well-acknowledged and respected across the industry. He has played a leadership role in several complex, innovative, and significant financing transactions in the UAE/GCC.

Prior to joining Ajman Bank, Kashif served as the Head of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. His tenure at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank was marked by exceptional leadership. Kashif also played an instrumental role at DIB Capital, a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank, where he made a significant contribution to its growth and success in the region.

Other notable roles include heading the Capital Markets and Syndicated Loans division at Dubai Islamic Bank, as well as important positions at Standard Chartered Bank, United Bank Limited, Grant Thornton, and MCB Bank Limited.

Kashif’s academic journey enhanced his expertise in strategic client coverage, corporate finance, investment banking, and asset management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from SM University, Pakistan, and an MBA from Business School, Pakistan.
