Job Purpose :

To review and provide adequate controls for Bank wide systems access rights of users. 

Key Result Areas :

  1. Review access requests and ensure that requests are as per the approved policies & adequate approvals.
  2. Perform user access re-certifications (access reviews) for all systems & access rights in the Bank
  3. Ensure that access rights to existing staff/ users only in accordance with the relevant system security policy & procedures;
  4. Perform a quarterly users access reviews, validation checks, and sent reports to all Divisional/Department Heads.
  5. Setting standard pro-forma access rights for each "type" of user of the system.
  6. Assist Information Security to manage the various encryption keys and if necessary the Key Management tasks include key Generation, Loading Export, Import, Distribute, Storing/securing in Vaults & Destroying appropriately
  7. Ensure appropriate steps are taken by various functions/teams for compliance to various data security entities like PCI, UAECB, Security Requirements, AB Security Policies, etc.
  8. Assist in management of super IDs and ensure dual control is maintained
  9. Assist in ensuring that password standards are maintained as per the Information Security policy.
  10. Maintain current awareness of industry trends, developments and methods to ensure constant application of best system security practices
  11. Contribute in evolving cultural changes required to integrate information security standards and practices into the bank’s mission critical operations
  12. Periodically review the access rights of users to improve and simplify them to increase operational efficiency.
  13. All the privilege access and group membership changes are reviewed regularly
  14. Gather System information and develop an accurate assessment of the collected information, identify shortfalls of controls and recommend effective solutions.
  15. Ensure that HR has a process as per IS requirements for the addition/modification/deletion of users upon confirmation of joining/transfer and resignation

Qualification & Experience :

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  2. IT system experience preferred
  3. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Banking preferably IT Security or System Management
