Maryam Al Shorafa, wins the title ‘Banking Corporate Communications & Marketing Expert of the Year and Best Retail and Commercial Bank’ for 2016 from Corporate Vision Magazine

Ajman – Maryam Al Shorafa, Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing Department at Ajman Bank announced today that she has won the title of, “Banking Corporate Communications & Marketing Expert of the Year and Best Retail and Commercial Bank” for 2016 organised by Corporate Vision Magazine. The CV magazines marketing, PR and communications award, recognizes the skill, dedication and client service in marketing, PR or communications.

Maryam Al Shorafa won the award after an online voting process to choose the Expert of the year in various fields. The award honours contributions and concrete efforts of Ms. Maryam Al Shorafa to plan and implement a distinct strategy in Corporate Communications, Marketing and Public Relations, which contributed immensely to the development of strong reputation and positive image of Ajman Bank whilst supporting the Bank's vision to create a business and a brand that will become the UAE’s, and in the future, the GCC’s favourite financial brand and to achieve economic success and investment. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Maryam Al Shorafa currently holds the position of Corporate Communications and Marketing Manager at Ajman Bank, where she joined the bank in January 2008. Prior to joining Ajman Bank she has worked with Higher Colleges of Technology – Women’s College. Ms. Maryam Al Shorafa has played a key role in leading and orchestrating the launch of Ajman Bank in 2009 and was elected as Secretary General of Ajman Businesswomen Council in 2012. Ms. Maryam Al Shorafa holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology from University of Southern Queensland.
