Mohamed Amiri

Acting Chief Executive Officer

He is an accomplished leader, with over 20 years track record of working with high-growth financial institutions like; HSBC, Dubai Islamic Bank and Dubai Bank. His extensive experience in the banking sector included several key positions and most recently Head of Retail & Business Banking Group in Dubai Bank. Amiri holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information System and a Graduate from the first batch of Mohammed Bin Rashed Program for Leadership Development (MBRPLD).

Ashraf Shokry

Chief Operating Officer

Ashraf Shokry, Chief Operating Officer joined Ajman Bank in June 2008 position SVP, Head of IT. Mr. Ashraf has more than 22 years of experience in banking and non banking information technology. In November 2009 he was recognized as one of the Top 10 CIO’s of the region by CIO Strategies Middle East. Ashraf holds a Bachelor in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Master in Computer Science plus many certifications from international companies.

Rafeek K.P.

Senior Vice President

Rafeek joined Ajman Bank PJSC in March 2008, and is holding the position of Group Head- Treasury & Financial Institutions. Prior to this Mr. Rafeek was associated with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC (ADIB) since its inception for a period of 10 years where he established and headed Treasury. He has over 22 years experience in managerial positions with UAE, Regional and International Financial Institutions in the GCC Market in the areas of Treasury, Capital Markets and Financial Institutions. Rafeek holds a Masters Degree in Commerce from a reputed Indian University.

Seifeldin Abdelkareem

Chief Financial Officer

Seifeldin Abdelkareem has over 27 years of experience in banking. He began his career at Sudan Commercial bank in 1982, then moved to Al Rajhi Banking and Investment Corporation in Riyadh. Afterwards Seifeldin was seconded, as Deputy Chief Accountant, to Al Rajhi in London for six years. Prior to joining Ajman Bank, he worked for the Central Bank of UAE as Head of an Examination Team; Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade as Head of Finance and Administration and Qinvest in Qatar as CFO. He holds an MBA from City University, London, Fellowship of the Chartered Certified Accountants UK and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London.

Ahmed Mostafa Tahoun
Cheif Internal Audit
Ahmed Tahoun has more than 26 years experience, 16 years of them on Islamic Banking, 3 years conventional Banking, and others include external audit and accounting experience. He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting plus many certifications (CBA, CIA, CRP, CISA, CICA, CCSA, CGEIT)
 

Asad Ahmed Batla

Group Head Retail Banking

Asad Ahmed Batla has over 18 years of experience in the banking industry, gained with organisations such as ANZ Bank Australia, Barclays Bank, Citibank Korea, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Mashreq Bank, and Noor Investment Group where he was CEO of a business under development, as well  as holding a senior position within the consumer banking business. He holds a bachelors in Engineering from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA and an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan.
 

Akram Khan

Group Head Corporate Banking

Akram Khan has over 22 years of Corporate Banking experience in the Arabian Gulf (Dubai & Riyadh) which includes 15 years with the French Banking Group Credit Agricole where he was a DGM and Head of Corporate Banking, Gulf and 5 years with Dubai Islamic Bank where he was an SVP & Head of Wholesale Banking . He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with High Honors from University of Arkansas, USA and an MBA from Western Illinois University, USA.

Abdul Nasser Al Mannaei

Vice President Shariah Compliance

Abdul Nasser Al Mannaei joined Ajman Bank in 2009 as Head of Sharia division, Head of Documents Development and as Secretary of the Fatwa and Sharia Supervisory Board. He began his career at Dubai Islamic Bank where he was Head of Sharia for 8years. He spent a further 10 years in the same capacity at Sharjah Islamic Bank and Noor Islamic Bank before his appointment at Ajman Bank. He is a member of the Fatwa & Sharia Supervisory Board of Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation and a member of the Committee for Establishing Gulf Islamic Banks in Tanzania. He holds a bachelors degree in Sharia & Islamic Studies.
